EOD IS Version 3.0

EOD IS version 3.0 consists of three (or four - depending on your perspective) sub systems. EOD IS-ADM - the administrative system - where ordnance information and render safe procedures (RSP) are structured, validated and stored. EOD IS-CW - clients on Wide Area Network (WAN) - enables related and remote organisations to update the database. (This could be seen as the fourth system, but strictly defined: this is just another client in the EOD IS-ADM.) EOD IS-OP - the operative system - with all functionality for staff and field units. EOD IS-SURVEY - a smaller EOD IS-OP (in size and functionality) - mainly used for survey. EOD IS-ANA - the analysis tool - where staff personnel analyse reports.
